RIVAFY is commited to improving the user experience for everyone. We are making our websites and products accessible for all.

To support accessiblity we:

• have an accessibility steering group to promote good practice

• provide accessibility training and targets for our design team

Level of accessibility

We've identified several accessibility challenges on our RIVAFY websites that can hinder user experience.

These include:

• Content and downloads not being in plain language, making them difficult to understand.

• Pages and documents with insufficient color contrast, affecting readability.

• Incorrectly ordered heading elements, disrupting screen reader navigation.

• Images lacking descriptive text, making them inaccessible to visually impaired users.

• Buttons not being correctly identified in the underlying code, posing issues for assistive technologies.

• Text and layout failing to reflow properly when pages are zoomed to 200%, impacting usability for those who magnify their screens.

Compliance status

In Short: The Web Content Accessibility Guidlines (WCAG defines requriements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. RIVAFY is partially conformant with WCAG. Partially conformant means that parts of our websites are not fully accessible.

How we're improving accessibility

We will update this statement within 12 months. We aim to:

• hire an external agency to do an accessibility audit

• add a list of all inaccessible content identified by the audit

• create a plan to fix issues found in the audit

• improve our knowledge of accessible design trough education and training

• create governance to ensure all new design and development follows WCAG Level accessibility guidelines

• Text and layout failing to reflow properly when pages are zoomed to 200%, impacting usability for those who magnify their screens.
